Are you a skilled carpenter with a passion for rugby and an adventurous spirit?

The Denver Barbarians Rugby Club is looking for a dedicated tradesman who’s eager to spend a season in Colorado, playing high-level club rugby while contributing their carpentry expertise to local projects.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone traveling on a visitor visa, looking to immerse themselves in Denver’s vibrant rugby culture and enjoy the natural beauty of the Rocky Mountains. You'll train and play with a nationally competitive club, meet lifelong friends, and experience the camaraderie of American rugby firsthand.

While formal employment isn’t available due to visa restrictions, we’re seeking someone who can trade skills (no pun intended) for lodging, meals, and project opportunities within our supportive community.

For those seeking to explore a new experience, this is your chance. Come build something—on and off the field—with the Denver Barbarians.

Here’s what we at Rugby Rent Scholarships can offer:

  • Living Accommodations for 90 day visit

  • Club Dues & Registration Fees Reimbursed

  • Community based mentorship and guidance through our network of trades men and women

  • Opportunity to run your own carpentry project with $5-10k budget

    • Design, plan and build your own personal carpentry project for our clubhouse
