CONOR O’BRIEN
Conor O’Brien is the keystone piece in the Rugby Rent Scholarship arch.
In fall of 2021, he threw his two pairs of underwear and socks into his sack and flew from New York City to a place he had never been. The Western Frontier.
Denver Colorado had called, and a young C.O.B. answered with a passion and hunger for new experiences. Conor had never left New York. As a city kid, all he knew was the concrete jungle of the Bronx. Here, in the foothills of the Rockies, his world was blown open by the vastness of the land.
ROBERT VALLE
Robert Valle , or affectionately known as Young Bobby V.
What can be said about this man that can’t be seen in his smoldering off-field silhouettes to his intense mid-game action shots. Within the Barbos community, Bobby V’s reputation has become a bit larger than life from bringing back the iconic Jheri curls to his dance floor antics at both Barbarian functions and weddings alike.
Yet beyond the pretty boy aesthetic , Robert Valle holds a deep heart and soul that carries a grounding nature to all those he cares for. A man who has kept his vision for life in sharp focus since arriving in Denver, Rob has found success both on & off the pitch.
Robert has diligently built upon his studies in college by working his way into a few private equity hedge funds here in Denver. While the demands of his career focus have been large , Rob hasn’t lost touch to what brought him out to Denver: Rugby and Community.
